Cuban Black Bean Soup

Cuban Black Bean Soup

Ingredients
- 3 Slices Bacon finely chopped
- 1 Small Onion diced
- 1 Small Green Pepper diced
- 1 tsp Garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Pinch Baking Soda
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 can Hanover Foods Chicken Broth
- 2 15.5oz cans Hanover Foods Black Beans
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Place bacon, onion, green pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, and black pepper in a large pot
- Add orange juice and baking soda and stir
- Add chicken broth and black beans, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes
